The Ninilchik Community Library was founded in 1952. In 2002 we moved into our much needed new library.
We are a non-profit organization and our library staff consists of volunteers. We rely on grants and donations to keep our library up and running. If you would like to become a member of the library, donate or volunteer please stop by and talk with our Library Director.
We offer our community current titles for our collections (Books, Audiobooks, and DVDs). We also offer broadband internet and videoconferencing through the OWL program. There are a few programs such as book club, story time and summer reading.
The Ninilchik Community Library is part of the Alaska OWL Project which has provided the library with broadband, videconferencing equipment, computers and a printer. The Alaska OWL Project is sponsored by the following:
