Quilt Raffle Drawing Today

Today is the final day to purchase tickets for the quilt raffle. $5 per ticket.
The drawing is at 6 p.m. Need NOT be present to win.
This is the last chance to get one while you can!
Tickets avaialble at: the library, American Legion Post 18, The Buzz, Alaskan Grown Cannabis, Coast Tesoro, Inlet View, and the Health Club.
Board Seat Opening Soon

Ninilchik Community Library is now accepting letters of interest for one Board Seat, with term ending in 2029.
The Board is responsible for the long-term strategic direction of the library, its financial stability and personnel management, and community advocavy and engagment to better serve the public.
If you are interested in being on the board, please submit your letter of interest by 5 p.m. on Oct. 13, 2026.
The Ninilchik Community Library's Annual Meeeting will be held Oct 13, 2026 from 6-7 p.m.

Summer Reading Program 2026
Ninilchik Community Library is excited to launch our 2026 Summer Reading Program — Plant a Seed, Read!
First session: Wednesday, May 20th Drop in any time between 2–4pm. No registration required!
Session dates: May 20 | June 3 | June 17 | July 8 | July 22 All sessions run 2–4pm
Open to all ages and abilities. You and your child will set a personal reading goal for the 12-week program — total books or weekly reading time, whatever works best for your family.
Each session includes time to check in on progress, select new books to take home, and complete a fun art project. You don't need to stay the full two hours.
Need help finding the right books? We're happy to help with leveled book selections.
Note: The children's play area will be closed during sessions.

📚 Book Donations
We accept gently used books and DVDs. Donations can be dropped off during our open hours: Monday - Thursday: 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM.
💰 Monetary Gifts
Financial contributions help us purchase new materials, upgrade technology, and expand programs.
⏰ Volunteer Time
Share your skills and time to help with events, shelving, and special projects.
